Advent 24 is a playlist for Advent.
These are 24 songs that express the expectancy of the season — the longing for Messiah, the cry for Him to come and save. Most of these are not traditional Christmas songs. They are not carols. They are hymns and songs full of warning, sorrow, joy, ache, but above all hope. Hope in a promised Savior who came to deliver us from sin. Hope in a Redeemer who will come again to establish justice and renew all things.
The point of Advent 24 is not to get you in the “Christmas spirit.” It’s to remind you of the season we're in — a time when Christmas is near but not yet.
